Peachland- Mr. Thomas 'Tom' Frank Kiker, 59, died Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Anson Community Hospital in Wadesboro.
Memorial services will be 3:00PM Sunday, April 27, 2014 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home. The family will greet friends following the service and other times at the home of his mother-in-law at 283 Wayland Drive in Polkton.
Tom was born August 14, 1954 in Union County, NC a son of the late Willie Francis Kiker and Ollie Pauline Jameson Kiker Black and William Oscar 'Wick' Black. He was a retired correctional officer with the North Carolina Department of Prisons.
Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Threadgill Kiker of the home; his son, Cody (Mindy Pike) Kiker of Peachland; his grandson, Gracin; his siblings, William 'Bill' Kiker, Beverly Luker, Teresa Carney and Anna Kiker all of Weatherford, TX; his mother-in-law, Mary Frances Threadgill of Polkton; and his step-mother, Maxine Kiker of Weatherford, TX.
Also surviving are his adopted children, Chris (Tania) Helms of Marshville, Alan (Carol) Johnson of Monroe, Dusty Helms of Marshville and Summer Holcomb of Indian Land, SC; and his babies of Crazy K & 'TC' Tree Rocking Kennel Farm.
