WADESBORO - Mr. Timothy Mitchell Bennett, 'Timmie' was born to Kim Hailey and Ronnie Bennett on February 28, 1988 in Rockingham, NC. He was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 30, 2013 at Carolinas Medical Center Union in Monroe, NC. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Sunday, July 6, 2013 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home with Rev. Broce Sowell officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Memorial Park. Timmie attended Anson County Public Schools. He accepted Christ as his savior and joined Latter Rain Ministries. Timmie touched the lives of many with his big smile and mannerisms. Timmie loved playing basketball and to challenge you with a game NBA 2K. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jo-Leatha and Robert Hailey of Wadesboro, NC and his paternal grandfather, Franklin Bennett of Morven, NC. He leaves to cherish his precious memories, a devoted and loving mother, Kim Hailey of the home; his father, Ronnie Bennett of Morven, NC; his grandmother, Mary L. Bennett of Morven, NC; his great-grandmother, Lee Esther Conrad of Wadesboro, NC; his brothers, Brandon Bennett of Monroe, NC, Jeremy Bennett (Brittany Williams) of Norwood, NC and Cortney Bennett of Wadesboro; his son, Timothy Mitchell Bennett, Jr. of Wadesboro, NC; a special niece, whom he loved dearly, Keiora Streater Bennett; his aunts, Rosalind Polk, Veronica Chambers, Marion Teal (Jeff), Crystal Hailey (Keith), Jacqueline Salvage (Charles) and Janelle Capel; his uncles, Darrell Hailey (Lily), Bryant Hailey (Fonda), Stan Hailey and Gary Bennett; his great-aunts, Bertie Ingram and Diane Melton; a close friend, Lil Ronnie Ledbetter and a host of other family members and friends.
