Wadesboro - Mrs. Tina Marie Hayes Odom, 53, died Monday, May 26, 2014 at Hospice of Union County in Monroe. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Friday, May 30, 2014 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home with Dr. M. David Chambers officiating. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Leavitt Funeral Home. Tina was born May 1, 1961 in Fairmont, WV a daughter of the late Margaret Hayes. She was employed with Autumn Care Corporation as a facilities trainer working with their facilities in both North Carolina and Virginia. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and is survived by her husband, Al Odom of the home; her son and daughter-in-law, Bradley and Traci Carter of Timberlake; her daughter, Brandi Tassos of Clarksburg, WV; her granddaughter, Brooklyn Carter; her sisters, Pam Musso and Frances Brown; her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sharon and Larry Sowards of Fayetteville and her nephew, Larry Ray Sowards of Nashville, TN.
