Tommy Anderson Howell, II

POLKTON Mr. Tommy Anderson "Lil Tommy" Howell II, 56, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Carolinas Medical Center Union in Monroe. Services will be 2:00pm Tuesday, February 6, 2018 by the graveside in Cedar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Monday, February 5, 2018 at Leavitt Funeral Home, Wadesboro. Lil Tommy was born January 18, 1962 in Union County, NC. He was the son of Dorothy Lett Howell and the late Tommy Anderson Howell. A graduate of Southview Academy in Wadesboro, he worked with his father at Tommys Forest Products and Tommys Timber Company and most recently he owned and operated Howell Transport. Surviving are his daughter, Scarlett Lynn Howell of Charlotte and his mother, Dot Howell of Polkton. Family and friends will always remember Lil Tommy for his "larger than life" personality and ability to keep everyone around him laughing. His infectious smile could light up a room and allowed him to make friends everywhere he went.
