LILESVILLE – Mrs. Ursula Lipp Williams, 79, passed away Thursday, July 22, 2021, at Stanly Manor in Albemarle.
Ursula was born May 22, 1942, in Schwabisch Hall, West Germany and was a daughter of the late Miximillian Lipp and the late Hilda Lipp.
She was a registered psychiatric nurse in her homeland of Germany and later retired as a Translator for the United States Government while still in Germany.
Surviving are her children, Edward Williams (Lauri) and Jacqueline Ricketts (Dennis) both of Wadesboro; grandchildren, Rebecca Simpson, Parker Simpson, Kristy Wilson (David), Dylan Ricketts (Alyssa) and Jake Ricketts; great-grandchildren, Azra, Aeirlyn, Josie, Elijah, Declan and Lille Bell.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Elmer “Bud” Williams, her son, Jimmy Williams and her brother and sister, Hantz and Helga.
Services will be private at Lilesville Cemetery by the graveside.
