WADESBORO - Mr. Vicky Darb Singletary, 67, died Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at his home. Services will be 11:00am Friday, September 4, 2015 by the graveside in Anson Memorial Park with Rev. R.J. 'Beever' Hammonds officiating. The family will greet friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Leavitt Funeral Home. Vicky was born April 8, 1948 in Anson County, NC a son of the late Timothy Douglas Singletary and Elizabeth Kate Dawkins Singletary. Surviving are his daughters, Connie Renee' (Joey Burris) Singletary and Michelle (Daniel) Weil both of Wadesboro and Ciji Singletary of Greensboro; his grandchildren, Travis Darb (Melinda) Weil of Lilesville and Damien (Shannon Davis) Weil of Wadesboro; his great-grandchildren, Rolan Darb Weil, Cameron Weil and Maryann Weil; and his sister and brother, Jeanie Singletary and Bill Dawkins both of Wadesboro. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Leavitt Funeral Home, P.O. Box 274, Wadesboro, NC 28170 in an effort to assist with expenses. The arrangements are in care of Leavitt Funeral Home.
