Wallace Allan Mr. Turner

WADESBORO - Mr. Wallace Allan Turner, 79, died Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. Funeral services will be 3:00pm Sunday, January 5, 2014 at Mt. Beulah Baptist Church with Rev. Barry Byrd officiating. Interment will follow in Anson Memorial Park. The family will greet friends from 5:00pm until 7:00pm Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Leavitt Funeral Home and other times at the home. Wallace was born April 21, 1934 in Anson County, NC a son of the late Kemp and Rosa Allen Turner. He was retired from United Carolina Bank and was a member of Mt. Beulah Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Ruth Carpenter Turner of the home; his daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Todd Burns of Monroe; his grandson, Nicholas Burns of Monroe and his brother and sister, Jasper Turner of Aquadale and Lillie Keeter of Monroe. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Melton Turner. Memorials may be made to Mt. Beulah Baptist Church, 3373 Country Club Rd., Wadesboro, NC 28170.
