Walter Thomas Richardson

Mr. Walter Thomas Richardson was born February 6, 1969, in Anson County, NC, and was a son of Virginia Phillips and the late James Tyson. He departed this life on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at Atrium Health Anson in Wadesboro, NC.

He attended Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Ansonville, NC. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Marcus Allen, and his brother, Thomas Earl Richardson.

He attended Bowman High School and was gifted with many different talents.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories, 2 daughters, Shynequia Richardson of Wadesboro, NC, and Moesha Allen of Concord, NC; 5 sons, Anthony Markee Allen of Concord, NC, Dennis Lindsey of Monroe, NC, James Clark of Burnsville, NC, Walter Richardson, Jr. of Wadesboro, NC, and Damien Marshall of Wadesboro, NC; 2 sisters, Teresa Richardson (John) of Wadesboro, NC and Inez Lowery (Rick) of Charlotte, NC; 1 step-daughter, LaTasha Jackson of Wadesboro, NC; a host of grandchildren; 1 niece, Karnesha Richardson of Wadesboro, NC; 1 nephew, Mitchell Gainey of Wingate, NC; 1 great-nephew, Noah Gainey of Wingate, NC; a special friend, Pandora Little of Charlotte, NC  and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Ansonville. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

There will be no public viewing on Tuesday. The family is gathering at the home, 56 Parson Rd., Wadesboro.
