McFarlan - Mr. Walter Henry Weaver, Jr., 65, died Sunday, June 12, 2016 at his home in McFarlan. Graveside services will be 3:00PM Friday in Bethel Cemetery with Rev. Donald Ray Morton officiating. The family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00PM on Thursday at Leavitt Funeral Home. Walter was born in Indianapolis, IN, on November 17, 1950, a son of the late Walter Henry and Ina Ruth Murray Weaver. He was a retired truck driver. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Bonita Carpenter Weaver of the home; his children, Sherry Berry (Bobby) of Hamlet, Walter Weaver (Mary Jane Ratliff) of McFarlan, Margaret Weaver of Goldsboro, Gracie Webb (Wayne) of Lilesville, and Jennifer Morton (Ray) of Hamlet; 13 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his brothers and sisters, Taunya Wright and Cherokee Weaver both of Las Vegas, NV, Jeff Weaver of Albany, IN, Greg Weaver of Columbus, IN, and Wade Weaver also of IN. In addition to his parents, Walter was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Weaver.
