WADESBORO - Mrs. Wanda Gail 'Penny' Smith Reynolds, 52, died Sunday, April 28, 2013 at Anson Community Hospital. A memorial service and gathering of family and friends will be 2:00pm until 3:30pm Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Agape Fellowship Church on Whispering Pines Rd., Wadesboro. The Rev. Gornie Williams will officiate. Penny was born February 28, 1961 in Elgin, IL a daughter of the late Wilbert Carl Smith and the late Mary Louise Hamilton Smith Kuck. Surviving are her husband, Randy Reynolds, Sr.; her children, Angela (John) Thibedeau, Thomas Reynolds, Calista (Michael Clark) Sanders and Randy Reynolds, Jr.; her grandchildren, Natashia, James and Sebastian Thibedeau, and Joshua and A'na Godfrey; and her siblings, Alan (Judy) Smith, Randy (Paula) Smith, Cheryl Smith and Ellie (Bob) Zalce and her special dogs, BoBo and Simon. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Jazzlin Clark, her brother, Dean Smith and by her maternal grandparents, Rev. Mary Hamilton and Clay Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, it is suggested donations be made to assist with funeral expenses at Leavitt Funeral Home, P.O. Box 274, Wadesboro, NC 28170. The arrangements are in care of Leavitt Funeral Home.
