William "Bill" Brady Coppedge

The obituary for Bill Coppedge is being shared as a courtesy to the Coppedge family who have been long time residents of the Peachland Community. We offer our sincere condolences to the family. Mr. William Brady “Bill” Coppedge passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2020 William was born December 19th, 1950 in Ashe County North Carolina to Marie Brown Coppedge and Pat Coppedge. Bill was raised in Peachland, NC and graduated from Bowman High School. He worked as a forklift operator for over 40 years at Yellow Freight. He was very happily married 43 years to Gloria M. Coppedge and survived by his sons William and Jason, daughter Marie, and brothers James Coppedge (Gloria) of Wadesboro, Tommy Coppedge (kay) New Salem, Leon Coppedge (Pam) Asheville, Lenward Coppedge (Becky) Monroe, and Johnny Coppedge (Karen) of Lancaster, SC. Bill was a jokester who loved Nascar and was a caring loving husband and father. He will be dearly missed. Services will be September 9, 2020 by the graveside in MT VIEW MEMORIAL PARK, 37067 Irwin Rd, Barstow, California 92311 with military honors.
