William Theodore Billy Mr. Burr

WADESBORO - Mr. William Theodore 'Billy' Burr, 62, died Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Hospice of Union County in Monroe. Graveside services will be 3:00pm Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Anson Memorial Park. The family will greet friends following the service and other times at the home of Lois Steele, 652 Deep Creek Rd., Wadesboro. Billy was born May 12, 1952 in Anson County, NC a son of the late Robert Hart and Evelyn Ricketts Burr. He was retired from Southern Fabricators in Polkton. Surviving are his daughter, Kimberly Burr and fianc, Justin Burr of Wadesboro; his brother and sisters, Robert H. (Helen) Burr, Jr., Grace Burr Griffin and Joyce Burr Deese all of Wadesboro. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Claudia Steele Burr. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Leavitt Funeral Home, P.O.
