William Gregory "Ted" Kluttz

OAKBORO - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William Gregory "Ted" Kluttz, Retired Chief Sheriff's Deputy with the Stanly County Sheriff's Department on Friday, October 27, 2023 at his home. He was 72 years of age.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, November 3, 2023 at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, 601 Pine St., Oakboro. Interment will follow in Oakboro Cemetery

He will lie in state on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM where friends and family are invited to pay their respects.

The family is gathering at their home on Pine Street in Oakboro.
