William Harold Mr. Pegram

LILESVILLE - Mr. William Harold Pegram, 71, died Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Ambassador Health and Rehab in Wadesboro. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Monday, November 12, 2012 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home, Wadesboro with Rev. Steve Hill and Rev. Doug Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Gum Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service on Monday and other times at the home of his sister. Harold was born January 16, 1941 in Anson County, NC a son of the late William Garfield Pegram and the late Myrtle Pauline Jordan Pegram. He was a member of Gum Springs Baptist Church and was the retired owner and operator of Pegram Construction Company. Surviving are his sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Tootsie Ratliff of Lilesville and Diane and Wayne Marks of Albemarle; his sister-in-law, Peggy Pegram of Lilesville and his nephews and nieces, Mitchell Ratliff and Sandy Pegram both of Lilesville, Tammy Brewer of Rockingham, Scottie Marks, Kyle Marks and Christie Melton all of Albemarle and Tina Lee of Ellerbe and their families. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ralph Pegram.
