William Wyatt Mr. Seigler, Sr

Wadesboro - Mr. William Wyatt Seigler, Sr., 84, died Friday, November 28, 2014, at his home. Funeral services will be 3:00PM Sunday at Leavitt Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Swaringen officiating. Interment will follow in Anson Memorial Park. The family will greet friends prior to the service beginning at 1:30PM. Wyatt was born June 9, 1930, in Georgetown County, SC, a son of the late Edgar Reynolds and Verdie Kennedy Seigler. Wyatt was married for 66 years to Geraldine Williams who died just eleven days prior to Wyatt's death. Wyatt was an accomplished carpenter for most of his life maintaining his own business but he also taught carpentry for many years at Anson Community College. Wyatt was a hard worker but also enjoyed salt-water fishing and made many friends at the beach, especially in the Apache Campground area. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, W. Wyatt Jr. and Debbie Seigler of Wadesboro; his grandsons, Bill Seigler of Wadesboro, Wade Seigler of Rockingham and David Seigler of Greenville, NC. In addition to his parents, Wyatt was preceded in death by two sisters, Luree Williams and Ann Craddock. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Richmond County Hospice, 1119 US 1, Rockingham, NC 28379. Leavitt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
